Man, it's real unfortunate to see this end, one of the better anime of this season, I really enjoyed the characters and interactions between them. I didn't think I was going to come to like this as much as I did, but it was definitely an anime I kept looking forward to each week.

I really hope this eventually gets a second season and I'm sure there'll be sponsors who will want their products to be advertised so they should be able to secure a good budget if they proceed with another season.

Nice that Mukouda finally got to enjoy a bath after so long, I am sure he has keeping himself hygienic in other ways but I know baths are important part of his culture so I'm sure he will savor each and every bath after being apart from it for so long.

Bathing Fel was so funny, I like how meek he got when Mukouda called him dirty, it's nice to see such a refreshing self-conscious Fel lol. But seeing resigned to being bathed was great fun, I liked how every little thing related was prickling him, the way he reacted each time Mukouda threw a bucket of water was amusing.

I also liked how much in control Mukouda was, withholding dinner like that and not letting Fel say no, getting his face washed and even getting Sui to persuade him to bath every 1-2 times a month.

The guildmaster's reaction to Mukouda asking if they could do something about the dragon was hilarious, he was so tired of Mukouda and Fel's rare monster hunts, he couldn't take it anymore. I'm sure he would have gladly done it if he had the funds and knowledge but I just really liked that he banged the table in reaction.

I am glad we got to see one last meal of the three enjoying their meals, I'll miss seeing this every week but it's been so much fun.

yeah, this anime was great. The main reason was because it didnt have any unnecessary narcissistic characters. Most shows these days always like to put those unnecessary characters in, and due to that, my rating of the show drops. This show has proven that a show can do well without those kinds of characters.

Most be partly 'cause it was MAPPA animating this. They've dabbled in so many diverse range of anime lol. I'm cheering for them if they continue like this xD!

While can be said the same with Handyman Saito since it's not just him but a whole collection of characters and him being a average joe but pretty much appreciated with his norm skills and personality.

hope we get a second season of this one soon, I wanna see the sea monster food and dragon food.

the show is fun and wholesome... Fel is clearly a provider, with Makoto as a domestic, creating a proper partnership, effectively what marriage used to be in the 1950's and earlier. add sui as a "kid" who does basic chores and assists the domestic in things like cleaning up, and with fel and sui's personalities, it really shines the way entertainment did when shows like lassie and flipper were big.

so there's this "familial" undercurrent to it all that catches you by surprise and most people aren't even sure what it is that makes it feel so wholesome, when they're effectively just watching Fel bring home bacon, Makoto cook and clean, and Sui assist.

I personally am disappointed the story is good and all but I don't like how much of a coward the MC is like with Fenrir's shield even without any skill you could just casually walk through enemies it will be easy for him to level up plus he has food that boost stats and he didn't even try anything that was actually meant to be neutrifying like fruits or supplements or such and I would have liked to see him encounter the other three heroes it would have been fun to see how they react when they found out he was contracted with a legendary beast

To be fair, he has hunted monsters already, like the goblins and kobolds. Maybe it's simply that he doesn't like it, or his personality is just like that. It's better like this anyway, since his goal isn't to become strong or anything like that. He just wants to travel and see the world. In fact, he actually has the "tools" he needs to become strong. (the 3 god's blessings and his food buffs) But he doesn't let these blind him from his original goal which is to simply enjoy life.

I'm not really saying he should be op (tho I'd prefer it that way since I like op MCs y'all I might call it generic and dumb but that's just my preference) but he should at be able to protect himself he had to be forced into both those situations and without fel's shield he would have died not necessarily because he didn't have the ability more like because he didn't have the confidence his goal is to travel the world but without fel he wouldn't be able to protect himself and it would cause him a lot to constantly hire escorts not to mention he wouldn't have as much money as now and he could always encounter more dangerous monsters than the party could handle

If you ask me, I'll say that's a normal reaction. He came from a peaceful world and to suddenly being thrown in the world full of monsters, it'll be weirder if he acts brave and hero wannabe. Not everyone has that sense of justice when we're more incline to realistic thoughts. He's already braver than most, I mean look at how he speaks casually with a fenrir. I would tremble or stay frozen if that beast is in front of me, let alone talk. My voice won't come out.

Well, this anime is more about them journeying and eat food rather than fighting and action like other Isekais, so I don't really mind the MC not being OP... I appreciate down-to-earth MCs like him from time to time, besides, it's like a symbiotic relationship with him and his familiars, familiars hunt, while he cooks the hunted food. Rather than him doing everything himself... It kinda shows how they depend on each other and that's pretty nice.
Tho, I do feel curious if they will ever meet the Heroes and if the heroes will ever realise that they were deceived by the king (The kingdom wasn't attacked by the Demon King, the human king summoned the heroes simply to use them to invade other countries...)
Wonder how the heroes will react when they find out the truth. (about the king's lies and about Mukouda with Fenrir, especially the fact that he's actually living a better life than them. Good food and rich from selling monsters XD)

Mukohda’s dream of owning a bathtub’s finally come true, and he couldn’t be happier. Even Sui loves it! Fel wasn’t a big fan in the beginning, but I loved how Mukohda washed him with Sui’s help. Fel looked good with his fur all clean and shampooed. And we couldn’t have a final episode without some nice food.

For the review: The manga got the best adaptation it could wish for. MAPPA animating a cute, wholesome isekai was a surprise to me, and of course they made the anime look gorgeous. I knew I’d love it and I was right.
The plot’s simple – a guy (Mukohda) gets isekaid, but instead of some casual OP powers he is able to buy stuff from an… interdimensional store, which sells stuff from Earth. A nice daily life ability. So, what’s the twist in the story? Well, Mukohda’s cooking attracts Fenrir, a legendary beast, who just wants to stuff himself. And thus, Mukohda tames the legendary beast and names him Fel. The two travel together, eat some delicious stuff, hunt monsters, and such. They also meet another companion – a slime. The cutest and the most adorable slime, whom Mukohda names Sui.
Mukohda’s food attracts the attention of goddess Ninrir, who wants to eat some sweets. So, in exchange for those, she gives Mukohda her blessing. Later, Mukohda (and Sui) is blessed by other goddesses who also want to have some of his stuff. The best trade deal in the history of trade deals. Speaking of trade deals - as a member of the merchant’s guild, Mukohda introduces some good quality Earth soap and shampoo.

In summary, it’s just a feel good, wholesome fantasy anime about cooking, occasional fighting, and… freakin salivating if you hadn’t eaten before watching it. I really loved it, the animations were gorgeous, the characters were great (Sui cutest slime), and it just felt good. I'd welcome a 2nd season. I rate it – 8.5/10.

no idea what you guys liked here. Even with all the fan service it barely holds 4/10 in my book. I don't see a point about anime which is basically about real life cooking + RPG elements. I had more fun cooking in Runescape ^^

It's more wholesome as you get older since the show improves and inspires your daily lifestyle. Now, we just need an anime that teaches us how to do and file our own taxes (Something you wish they teach you at school.).

Dunno why i liked it so much either not a foodie but its just a nice show to sit back and watch since it doesnt try to be smt its not so theres no cringe or some reused tropes apart from some of the basic isekkai stuff wich is a nice change and the chemistry in his party is nice and the mc is likeable like sure some things could be changed but then the story would also have to be swapped so it has a nice balance atm so while its not a unforgetable 10/10 that every1 craves all new shows to be but its still a solid show

Doesn't need fan service to be enjoyable. In fact, the way they censor stuff that doesn't need to be ruins fan service and just makes it even more unnecessary.

I hope "The Forsaken Saintess and her Foodie Roadtrip in Another World" gets an anime at some point, or at least more updates. It's about a young woman who gets summoned but they kick her out of the kingdom because her skills don't show properly. What they don't know is it was due to being summoned "indoors" and she can only activate it outdoors (including inside dungeons) basically skills that warn her of danger or let her know if something is edible. The biggest skill though is being able to summon a stealthed camper van to her location with an anti-monster barrier and using magic to process waste as well as power appliances and fuel.

Idk about cooking in RS being more enjoyable than watching this XD Takes too long to do a full inv of food imho. I may be 120 cooking, but still get annoyed by the slowness of it.

Or does it have any novels ( ln, wn ). I cant find it at novelupdates (better if you have the translator site ). I almost never open mangadex after it change server . A lot ( not all ) of my bookmarks has disappear , too lazy to search it again and bookmark it again.

The story follows Riko and Reg spelunking into a giant pit or the Abyss, The Abyss is an unexplored enormous cave system inhabited by strange and wonderful creatures, along with mysterious artifacts.
Much of the Abyss remains shrouded in mystery, not only because of how the wildlife gets increasingly hostile and dangerous as one descends further down, but also because of "the Curse of the Abyss"
